    Gather hqs series capitalmascarenhastechcrunch

    Gather, a virtual HQ platform, has raised $26 million in a Series A atozmp3 funding round led by Sequoia Capital. The funding round also saw participation from existing investors such as Flybridge Capital and Jeff Fagnan, and new investors like Collaborative Fund and Founder Collective.

    Gather was founded in 2020 by CEO and co-founder Nick Lazzaro. The platform offers a virtual space for teams to work, collaborate and socialize, providing a virtual replica of a physical office that can be customized to meet the specific needs of each team. The platform integrates with a range of productivity tools like Zoom, Slack, and Google Drive, making it easy for teams to seamlessly transition from one tool to another within the virtual environment.

    The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a toonily significant shift towards remote work, with many companies adopting hybrid or fully remote work models. This has resulted in a growing demand for virtual collaboration tools that can provide a sense of community and belonging, as well as replicate the benefits of a physical office.

    Gather aims to address this need by providing a platform that offers a range of features that can help teams work more efficiently and effectively, while also fostering a sense of community and culture. The platform’s customizable nature allows teams to create their own unique virtual environment that reflects their company culture, mission, and values.

    Gather has already gained significant traction masstamilanfree since its launch, with over 4,000 organizations using the platform, including companies like Shopify, who use the platform to host virtual events and training sessions.

    The new funding will be used to scale Gather’s engineering and design teams, as well as expand its customer support and sales teams. The company also plans to invest in new features and integrations to further enhance the platform’s capabilities.
